Kasimayan Uma received her Ph.D. from Nagoya Institute of Technology, Nagoya, Japan. During her Ph.D., she received a prestigious award of Monbukagakusho fellowship from Ministry of Education, Japan. After finished her Ph.D, she joined as a postdoctoral research fellow at National Central University and continued her postdoctoral study at Precision Analysis and Materials Research Center, National Taipei University of Technology, Taiwan. At present, she is working as a research assistant professor at department of Electro-Optical Engineering, National Taipei University of Technology, Taiwan. Her research interests are solar cell, photocatalyst, CO2 reduction, photonic liquid crystal and photoelectrochemical water splitting using semiconductor material.
