Hsin-Yi Wei is a Ph.D. student in the Institute of Electro-Optical Engineering at National Taipei University of Technology. Her research focuses on organic laser materials and photonic devices, including:

• Fabrication and optical characterization of organic laser dye thin films, such as neat films and blended films.

• Investigation of amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) and distributed feedback (DFB) lasing in D–A–D organic dyes integrated with polymer films and replica-structured films.

• Study of the nonlinear optical properties of organic dyes, particularly two-photon absorption (TPA) measurements.
